MEET THE ANIMALS!

Always remember the three ‘M’s – Milo, Marmalade and Marmite, our three pigs! Milo and Marmalade are our gorgeous Kune Kune pigs, who always appreciate a good tummy rub, whilst Marmite is our wild pig. She often acts more like a dog than a pig!

We have many more animals for you to see, but not enough space to show them all here, so perhaps you should head on over to meet them yourself! You can see our goats, ponies, llamas, alpaca, peacocks, guinea fowl, dogs, chickens and ducks (sometimes with chicks and ducklings too!), rabbits and guinea pigs, pheasants, chinchillas, and even our very own special wallaby ~ the list is practically endless !!!

There is also a small flock of coloured sheep on the farm, and if you’re lucky there may just be some cute lambs for you to see and bottle feed too (seasonal)

Our animals love to be hand fed, and it's great FUN to feel their velvety noses at your fingers!

There is plenty to do and see here at the Kaikoura Farm Park, and we are always happy to help make your visit as enjoyable as possible! Parents can sit in a viewing area and watch their children play in a safe environment, or wander round with them and share the experience.

All the animals have their own personalities, and all enjoy the attention and cuddles from the children.

You're welcome to bring picnics or BBQ's with you on your visit. We've a lovely decking area and picnic benches for you to enjoy your time, relax, and marvel at the glorious view of Mt. Fyffe.

We also cater for children’s birthday parties where they can play with the animals (or we can take the animals to children’s homes). It's a birthday they will never forget!

There will be many more exciting things to see on the farm this coming season as we are always improving and rebuilding areas of the park.

We can arrange to pick up and deliver visitors from outside the Visitor Centre, or from backpackers or motels on request. Simply contact us!

Kaikoura Farm Park is open seven days a week, all year round (excluding Christmas Day)

Summer hours (Oct - May) are: 10am – 5pm
Winter hours   (June - Sept) are: 10am - 4pm

Entry - Adults = $10
           Children = $7
           Family (2 adults, 2 children) = $25
           Annual Family Pass (2 adults, 2 children) = $59
                (extra adults or kids = $15 each)
